 5051 Old Masters Pewter SteinThis very ornate impressive one liter stein depicts three J. Wennekes sculpts. The main panel opposite the handle depicts an original by Rembrandt entitled "The Night Watch". To the left is the "Parrot Cage" by Jan Steen, to the right is "Kitchenmaid" by Jan Vermeer. All three famous painters were from 17th Century Holland. Dutch sculptor Wennekes engraved this stein at a degree of detail that is unsurpassed. The ornamental domed lid features cameos of the three original artists. The base is completed with embossed name plates of these 3 artists featuring their life spans.
