 6500 Guberif Fireman SteinWhat are Guberifs you might ask? Why, they are the feature characters of Don Rand's book, "Rigby and Gem A Guberif Adventure." Inspired by the fire safety signs he saw throughout Idaho as a boy, "Don't be a Guberif," Don Rand's imagination took flight and over a half a century later he worked to bring the characters from his musings to life. In his book we learn about the land of the Guberif's and their dedication to fire safety and prevention.
We are introduced to the magical land of the Guberif's by following Rigby and Gem through their training with Granpa Sage as they pursue their Guberif Wings to become official members of the Fire Prevention Family. We also meet their unaware counterparts, the Firebugs, who tend to start fires because they do not know about fire safety and prevention. The Guberifs work to keep the land safe and to educate the firebugs.
After all, Guberif is just Firebug spelled backwards. This delightful stein features Grandpa Sage as a young Guberif putting out a large fire and a banner across the top of the stein proudly states, "Guberif the Firefighter." This finely decorated porcelain stein has three gold-leaf bands wrapped around the top and bottom of the stein with a conical pewter lid to complete the piece. A limited edition of 200 Beer Steins this item is an excellent addition to any stein-lover or Guberif-lover's collection.
